In Balance Bodywork is a web site for Ellen Falconer, LMP's therapeutic massage and bodywork practice. Ellen has magic hands which are capable of bringing relief to soothed muscles or nerves. As one of her clients wrote in a quote that we've printed on the Swedish Massage page, "she has great technique and a sensitivity that is necessary for tuning into changes that may occur in my body". She draws from a variety of techniques for bodywork, including, but not limited to "positional relief for musculoskeletal dysfunction" and "side-lying somatics". One of Ellen's hobbies is playing with "Yesango", a marimba band. Check out the lower right corner of the pages in her site for excerpts from their CD "Playing in the Wind", and click on the thumbnail sized image of the CD cover for more information about the band.

One of the design challenges in creating this web site for In Balance Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork was to keep it simple, yet interesting. One of the technical challenges was to set up an all-css (cascading style sheet) design (which is future-oriented) which is compatible on all the major browser platforms. If we were just designing for viewing by the FireFox browser, that would have been easy; making the pages look the same on various versions of Internet Explorer was "interesting". We think we succeeded admirably. What do you think?
