In addition to their other duties, the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 41 performs a variety of public services including boating safety courses which are practically free, and safety inspections, which are free.

The Flotilla 41 website is an online brochure and resource for the boating public with current schedules for the educational activities all year, and safety inspection schedules during boating season. Site also serves as a recruiting tool - gives basic info on the group and offers links to official sites for more in-depth info.

The site structure was developed during discussions with a representative from the flotilla about what they wished to communicate.

Site has some fun touches, such small animations, that are not intrusive. The links page is also used by some of the other flotillas. Design is attractive and appropriate. Pages load very quickly. Navigation is well developed even though the site is small.
